Dr. Sarah Tabin was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. She grew up riding, teaching lessons, and enjoyed being involved with the community through 4H.
She continued to follow her interests through college competing on the western equestrian team and studying equine and marine sciences. She graduated from Pennsylvania State university with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015.
Shortly after undergraduate education, she was accepted to St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine located in Grenada, West Indies. She completed clinical year rotations at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2020.
After a year of mixed animal practice, she moved on to complete an equine internship at Ocean State Equine Hospital in Rhode Island. Since then, she has worked mixed animal/ambulatory practice and with standardbred race horses at the Meadows racetrack in Pittsburgh. She recently received her certification in medical manipulation (chiropractic) and is excited to integrate this into practice. She is excited to join the team at Cleveland Equine Clinic.
She is currently a member of AAEP and AVMA. Her main interests are field surgery, integrative medicine, sports medicine/lameness and podiatry.
Outside of work she enjoys riding horses, hiking with her two dogs, and traveling.
