Accidents and illness can happen at any time. We have a vet on call 24/7 available for emergency care. After 5 p.m. Monday – Friday, and after 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays, you will be forwarded to our emergency service line where staff will take your information and contact or connect you with our veterinarian on call.

Please be aware that we do not perform colic surgery. Upon examination, if your horse is a surgical candidate and surgery is an option, your horse may be referred to another facility for surgery. If surgery is not an option, or the type of colic does not appear to be a surgical candidate, advanced care and monitoring can be done at our facility.

Our clinic is equipped with an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for patients with critical illness or injury that require special care and monitoring. Often treating illnesses or chronic injuries over time at the farm can be difficult and costly. With staff on hand and clinical equipment at the ready, treatment of critically ill patients can be done sufficiently and timely.
